The South Asian Health Research Hub is led by a diverse team of public health professionals from the South Asian diaspora working towards improving our community's health and well-being through research, education and advocacy.
We would like to acknowledge the Land on which the South Asian Health Research Hub operates on.
McGill University is situated on the traditional territory of the Kanien’kehà:ka, a place which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst nations. We recognize and respect the Kanien’kehà:ka as the traditional custodians of the lands and waters on which the University resides.
Additionally, for thousands of years, the University of Toronto has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
